F.A.Q

Do You Have Any Question?

WHAT IS FTTH?
FTTH stands for Fiber-To-The-Home. This means a fiber optic line is hooked directly to your home or business Hub. Fiber optic line uses a thin strand of glass to transmit beams of light that carry an amazing amount of data. It’s this data we’ll use to deliver high-speed Internet, plus video and telephone services (Triple Play Services).
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE FTTH NETWORK?
To offer faster Internet access at competitive prices, more video services, and position our network to take advantage of future economic development opportunities.
WHY ARE WE BUILDING THE FTTH NETWORK?
We need FTTH to offer the services and pricing our customers deserve and expect. The new technology will allow us to not only offer today’s telecommunication services, but those that become available in the future. There won’t be any active devices like Switches, Fiber Optical Convertor etc. in between the office location and your home thus expelling the need for electricity to create downtime issues.
WHAT WILL THE UPLOAD AND DOWNLOAD SPEED BE FOR THE FTTH NETWORK?
We will advertise speeds and pricing but custom circuits will be available to meet any speed requirement you may have.
WILL I NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW TELEPHONE, COMPUTER OR TELEVISION?
No. All of your current equipment will work in conjunction with FTTH.
WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED IN MY HOME TO BE CONNECTED TO THE FTTH NETWORK?
We will install a Optical Network Unit (ONU) on your home.
